Protonex 红600, SE pH荧光探针是美国AAT Bioquest生产的pH荧光探针，Protonex Red染料显示出pH依赖性荧光。与大多数在较高pH下荧光更强的荧光染料不同，酸性条件可增强Protonex Red染料的荧光。随着pH从中性降低到酸性，Protonex Red染料的荧光急剧增加。细胞外缺乏荧光消除了洗涤步骤。Protonex Red染料是检测酸性细胞区室（如内体和溶酶体）的优秀产品。Protonex Red染料在细胞外是非荧光的，但在酸性区室（如吞噬体，溶酶体和内体）中发出明亮的红色荧光。
