Protonex 绿色染料是一种能呈现出pH依赖性荧光的荧光探针。 与大多数现有的荧光染料的荧光性质不同（在较高的pH值下具有更高的荧光性），它在酸性条件可以增强Protonex Green染料的荧光性。 当pH从中性降低到酸性时，Protonex Green染料的荧光明显增加。 Protonex Green染料提供了一个强大的工具，可以检测酸性细胞区室，如内体，溶酶体和其他生物靶标。
